Here’s my 1972 VW Beetle I lovingly call “VB”. It was completely original until last year, when the engine blew, and replacing it was in budget, but repair was not. I bought it in 2005 from the original owner, making me a 2nd owner. It has never had a radio installed, and the antenna knock-out is Factory original. I added the pop-out windows myself to give it 4X55 air conditioning! I have a swamp cooler for it as well, but have not needed it this year. All rust is “Surface Rust”, and it still floats, with a completely water-tight floor. Not bad for a 50 Year old car! It was made in November 1971 in Wolfsburg Germany. “Mark R“
