This was my grandfathers car that he bought new in 1955. When he died, my father had stored in away since 1986 and never saw the road again or daylight until 2020. I have asked my father for over more than 16 years to start with the restoration, but never got a yes! And after covid started and took our uncle into his grave, he changed his mind and a green light was on. As of 16 years ago I wanted to do a full restoration, but after so many years I understood why my father said no. I only will do a full mechanic resto on every piece nut bolt etc. And cosmetic? Yes but only to preserve the body and chassis against the weather elements and some rust removal. This car has to stay original but mechanical like new!
