This is my 1965 vw bug herbie project. Once used as one of the 39 cars for the Herbie fully loaded with Lyndsay Lohan primarily green screen/ stunts. I purchased it from a guy who bought it in a estate sale. Once I got it home the drive line was replaced for a slightly more powerful 1600cc and transmission was upgraded to a freeway flyer. Brake system was repaired along with the essential parts to make it road worthy. Unfortunately I wasn’t satisfied with the project due to lack of seat upholstery riding on springs aren’t comfortable so with all thing the snow ball effect begins and endless purchases slowly drains money and creates a vortex of a never-ending repairs upgrades.
